Goddess Lakshmi.

The Goddess of wealth and prosperity.

the One you invoke during adversity…

But me, you trade…

My very being, you degrade.

You taint my soul, call me a whore..

I am her incarnation,

Goddess Saraswati,

The Goddess of wisdom and enlightenment.

The One you seek, when your knowledge is all spent..

But me, you repress…

My imagination, you suppress.

You curb me, do not let me soar…

I am her incarnation ,

Goddess Uma, Goddess Parvati.

Goddess of birth and fertility.

The One you pray for your virility..

But in my hurt, a pleasure you derive..

Make it tough for me to survive.

You abort me in womb, though your sons I bore..

But I am also her incarnation,

Goddess Durga,

Mahishasurmardini…

The Goddess who kills demons..

Yes, I am a woman,

I nurture and for your well-being I pray..

Remember though, the demon in you ,

I can slay!!
