I am a freelance writer.
I graduated as an architect and worked for few years in an architectural firm as an interior designer. However I left the job and traveled across India with my husband who was serving in Indian Air Force till a year ago before taking a voluntary retirement. As of now I keep hopping between Delhi and Pune.
I have professional proficiency in English and Hindi and a diploma course in Creative Writing from Symbiosis, Pune. I have written for various national publications and international publication as well. My travel and culture stories have appeared in:

I love to write about travel, architecture, heritage, culture, food, science and technology, environment, wildlife, women’s issues, books and personal narratives.
I dabble also in photography, art, illustration, poetry, fiction(just about), translation from Hindi to English and vice versa. When I am not writing or painting I indulge in baking and crafting candles and chocolates.
It has been three successful years of freelancing. I also maintain a travel blog where I share my experiences from national and international trips.
